(Nasdaq:XENE), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 4,000,000 of its common shares at a price to the public of $9.00 per share. In addition, Xenon Pharmaceuticals has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 600,000 common shares at the initial public offering price. The common shares are expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on November 5, 2014 under the symbol "XENE."
